As a Yorkshire wedding photographer Leeds, we love hearing all the details from a couple ….. here is the story of Ashleigh And Daniel who got married at Christ Church in Harrogate and then to the Chevin Country Park Hotel on 11th February 2012

Beginning
We met on a night out in Wetherby and just kept bumping into each other after that…Ashleigh is still waiting for a first date! The proposal was at Scarborough on the beach…its a long story but Ashleigh kept ruining all of Dan’s plans without knowing, he had the ring for a few months before he actually managed to ask!
Planning
The grooms mum actually found the venue and we just fell in love straight away and decided to do the wedding sooner! The dress was a real princess dress and was found after looking in about 5 shops and trying on about 100 dresses! The colour theme was deep purple as that’s Ashleigh’s favourite colour and the groom chose the Groomswear (the only thing he was allowed to!).
The Day
On the day we had a mixture of both nerves and excitement until we saw each other and when we were together we just felt really special and like everything had just clicked after months of stressing! We were both up bright and early in the morning as we were both too excited to sleep! All the preparations went smoothly, there was a few little hiccups but nothing major, and we simply didn’t care because it was our day! The bride was a little late turning up to the church as the car got stuck (one of the hiccups) but all was fine when she arrived. The ceremony was lovely and the photographer (Mark Pearson Photography) got some amazing pictures in the church. The speeches were fab, the brides father, best man and groom did speeches and they all did amazingly! We had both a wedding breakfast and an evening buffet, and they were really nice! Our first dance was Use Somebody, song by our lovely wedding singer Nikki Conway who was amazingly talented!
Honeymoon
We haven’t had a honeymoon yet, we bought a house instead!
Suggestions
Just not to stress about it really as on the day anything could happen and you wouldn’t care its the happiest day of your life regardless of the little things that may or may not happen.
Top Tip Bride
Try to take little moments throughout the day to look around at everyone and remember, the day goes so quickly you can’t seem to remember a lot of it!
Top Tip Groom
Just take your time on the as it goes so quickly, try and enjoy every minute of it!
Special Memory
Seeing each other in the church for the first time on the day.
