Your wedding day is a truly special journey - starting from the "Will you marry me?" all the way through to the honeymoon - a journey full of planning, preparation, raw emotion, sometimes tears, lots of smiles, hugs and a whole heap of nerves.
With over 20 plus years collective experience photographing well in excess of a thousand weddings, the photographers at Mark Pearson Photography bring something pretty important to your wedding day. Not only do we take images and design albums that last a lifetime, we also know the formality of the day and we know the etiquette of the day - put simply we KNOW weddings - and that invaluable experience we give to you on your big day. Many photographers simply turn up, take a few shots and leave.
Here at MPP we do things differently. Not only are we your photographers, we are also there to help you through the day itself if you need us to. From bringing our "Emergency Kit" which contains such essentials as plasters, needle and thread, safety pins, sun cream, baby wipes, nail varnish and other essential bits, through to helping you arrange every single element of your big day, we are there to play our part in you having the day of your dreams. Not sure what time to do your first dance? Leave it to us, we'll work with your Venue and DJ and make all the arrangments for you. Not sure whether to do the speeches at the beginning or the end of your wedding breakfast? We'll talk you through the options. Not sure on timings for the day? At your pre-wedding meeting, we'll help you plan your day to perfection. All you then have to do is enjoy the day!

Packages
We know how frustrating it is to visit a photographers website and see the words "Prices from......". You generally then have to make an appointment just to find out how much they charge and this can end up being a waste of your valuable time if you find the prices are outside of your budget. Many photographers go down a Package route with very fixed, inflexible packages often resulting in you paying for something that you just don't want. At MPP, we work differently. At your initial meeting, you will be asked two simple questions: "How much of the day do you want photographing?" and "What product do you want at the end?". From this information, we then custom build you a package that is unique to you.
Pricing Policy
Our website contains a large amount of information, much more than you may have seen on other photographer's websites. This is intentional as we give you all the information you need to make an informed decision. We give you very specific details about our service and prices as we feel it is very important you are aware of our pricing structure BEFORE you come to see us. Our prices are all inclusive - we have absolutely no hidden costs, surprises or extras. This is just one of the many reasons why so many Hotels / Wedding Venues recommend us and why so many couples choose us as their wedding photographers.
Service
When you book us to photograph your wedding, you will find that our wedding service is geared to totally work around you and is second to none. We know that each wedding is unique, with its own individual requirements, no two weddings are ever the same and you simply cannot have a "One size fits all" approach.
The Big Day
When your big day arrives you can leave our Yorkshire and Lancashire wedding photographers to get on and capture the wonder and magic of your day. Where two photographers attend, one photographer will capture the shots that you asked for in your pre-wedding meeting - the second will blend silently into the background and capture those wonderful reportage style shots that everyone exclaims "Wow, when did they take that, I never saw them do it". You get the best of both worlds and get to see photographs of things that you may have missed otherwise. On the day itself, we will help and guide you through the day if necessary - you can't beat an experienced wedding photographer who understands the etiquette and formality of the day.
After The Wedding
After the big day, we simplify the whole process for you. We offer each Bride and Groom an online album to preview / view your wedding images. This album allows you to see all of the images from the day in colour or black and white, it allows you to share them with family and friends and simplifies the selection process of choosing the images for your album and parents albums.
We firmly believe that it is the little things in life that make a massive difference. Our wedding service is designed to take the worry out of your wedding photography. We carry full public liability and wedding insurance and on the day, we carry backups of everything we can think of to cater for every eventuality.
